Graham Norton: I heard you talking on a show where you met Donald Trump.

Daniel Radcliffe: Yes, exactly.

Graham Norton: But not because you wanted to.

Daniel Radcliffe: No, I was...I just...I love real estate. I have to go and meet him when I was so young! (I think he's joking...) No, I was, like eleven or twelve, and I was going...It was when we were doing the press for the first Potter movie...where they took us to New York and it was the first time doing sort of the morning shows in New York. And I was about to go on the Today Show. I had never been on sort of American morning TV before, and I was quite nervous. And Donald Trump was also, had also been on that day. That's Donald Trump, for those who have blissfully forgotten what he looks like! He...huh...Then they sort of walked me over to him because clearly somebody said, "Hey! Do you want to meet the kid who plays Harry Potter?" And he was like, "Sure!" I don't know how the conversation went. They sort of walked me over to him and he said, "Hi, nice to meet you." And I said, "Nice to meet you." He said, "How are you?" I said, "I'm quite nervous. I've never been on TV before. I don't know what I'm going to talk about."  And he, brilliantly, just said, "You just tell them you met Mr. Trump!" To me, that is the Everest of self-confidence! Imagine if I had just been to you, when you go on that show, just talk about me! Don't be talking about your stuff.

Justin Timberlake: You're talking  to Americans and we're both just like.

Daniel Radcliffe: Like sad. (The entire audience bursts into laughter) ...you are really sad.

Anna Kendrick: Yeah. I know, you are all laughing!

Graham Norton: And also the problem.

Justin Timberlake: Yeah, right now.

Graham Norton: Also, this is  kind of the problem. Cause you end up talking about him.
